EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Valentines By Kids, Inc. (“VBK”) was founded by Patrick Roy Kaufmann, a high-school student. Sometimes, his friends, family and others volunteer. No one is paid (except outside vendors). VBK only incurs costs for postage, printing, web services, and some supplies and is fortunate to receive funding from the Kyle Todd Public Service Foundation and the Worldwide Small Change Foundation. VBK does not sell any information and the only information it “collects” is what is necessary to deliver Valentine’s day envelopes to schools and organizations, and to pick up and deliver the Valentines to charities. For example, if a school tells us to deliver envelopes, we have to collect the school’s address. Our website, hosted on Bluehost, might collect some analytic data such as whether you are using a tablet or desktop to format the screens.

VBK is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content.
VBK collects and uses your personal information to operate the VBK Web site and deliver the services you have requested as well as similar services in the future.
VBK does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. VBK may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to VBK, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

USE OF COOKIES
The VBK Web site use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize VBK pages, or register with VBK site or services, a cookie helps VBK to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as contact information, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same VBK Web site, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the VBK features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the VBK services or Web sites you visit.

VBK is committed to protecting the security of your personal information transmitted to and from this website and will take reasonable security precautions to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet. Our site is hosted by BlueHost which claims that they secure the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We do not have the ability to substantiate or warrant that claim.
